In every neighborhood resources exist to create a sense of belonging, safety, beauty, and equity.
These resources are hidden and untapped perhaps, but they are there.
When church folk, community groups and individuals dream and work together neighborhoods transform.
Equipping Churches
Churches have a rich resource in their people. However, more often than we'd all like to admit churches can be disconnected from their neighborhood.
Making the transition from disengagement to serving their neighborhood can be a formidable change. We train and help churches in making that switch.
To Engage in Community Partnerships
Social service agencies, neighborhood organizing groups, public schools and community development corporations have great experience and strategies for enriching communities.
Too often they lack the volunteer base that could really empower their efforts. We connect churches and community groups helping them form partnerships in common efforts.
