Neighborhood Liaisons
One of the ways we resource local churches is by providing Neighborhood Liaisons who work with the church leadership to discover potential neighborhood partners and assets, create catalytic events to mobilize congregants and community members in collaborative efforts of neighborhood care.
Using Second Stories' paradigm of missional theology and Asset Based Community Development, Neighborhood Liaisons empower churches to strategically deploy their people, buildings and assets, creating partnerships with other churches, agencies, and nonprofits in the areas of, 1) community building, 2) poverty/hunger, 3) health & wellness, 4) schools support, 5) homeless/vulnerable, and 6) creation care.
If your church would like to have a Neighborhood Liaison or would like more information about how this works, contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
