Pete Meyers

I litigate contested family law matters, such as divorces and dissolutions, child custody, guardianships, wills, and other matters affecting major life events. I also litigate and advise on agreements, employment, intellectual property (such as licensing and copyright agreements and trademark registration), debt collection, and general corporate matters. Where this fits in with my work with Second Stories is to help the board and the organization think through issues and solve problems, whether legal or otherwise.

Stephanie Mathis
Executive Director, Oregon Center for Christian Values (OCCV)

My husband, Pastor Mark Mathis and I worship and serve with the community at Milwaukie Covenant Church near SE Portland. MCC has been prayerfully seeking to build relationships, serve their local community, and reach the world for Christ. I see that Second Stories serves as an essential resource both in theology, philosophy, and praxis for believers like MCC. OCCV also has a similar mission as Second Stories in uniting and educating the Christian community around living out the holistic gospel of Jesus Christ especially in loving those in the margins of our society.

Tony Kriz
Greater Portland Coordinator, Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO)

My family and I live embedded in North Portland. We are helping to integrate new communities of faith and walk with others into whole and congruent lives. We believe strongly in a "theology of locality": "The Word pitched his tent amoung us" and we are called to do the same. That is why I serve Second Stories.
